Founded in 1945 by Bill Herron upon his return from service in World War II, Herron-Connell Insurance Agency continues today as a family owned and operated agency. As the oldest and one of the largest independent insurance agencies in Oak Ridge, Herron-Connell serves Anderson, Knox, Blount, and other surrounding counties. And in 2005, we added the "Red" Williams Insurance as a subsidiary to our agency.
Our customers have the confidence in knowing that they have the best protection from leading insurance companies, as well as the comfort and accessibility of a local agency who provides exceptional customer service and comprehensive, customizable coverage.

Congratulations! Herron-Connell's Addison Koella Helped Get a total of $10,000 from Safeco for Distressed Families of Appalachian Counties (ADFAC)
At Herron-Connell Insurance, we are proud that Addison Koella nominated one of 12 nationwide winners of a Safeco Insurance Community Hero Award - Dave Mason.
As a result, ADFAC received a $5,000 grant from Safeco Insurance. Dave and ADFAC went on to become the 2nd Runner-up in the final contest, winning ADFAC an additional $5,000. Thanks to all who voted and helped ADFAC win its grant!!
